ProPay HR, a fast-growing payroll services provider, is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to help us expand our client base. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and presenting personalized payroll solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. You’ll work closely with our internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction while staying updated on industry trends to keep our offerings competitive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prospecting and reaching out to new businesses to create lasting relationships.
  • Understanding client challenges and presenting tailored payroll solutions.
  • Leading presentations and demonstrating the value of ProPay HR’s services.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client support.
  • Staying current with industry trends and sharing insights with the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management. (Payroll or HR experience in Sales is a plus.)
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to solving client challenges.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and eager to take initiative.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with experience using payroll or HR software being a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Essentials for Success:

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Payroll Process: Handling payroll processing, data collection, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Customer Service: Acting as a liaison for payroll inquiries, providing support to employees and management.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Running audit reports, ensuring compliance with requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • System Management: Managing interfaces and data in Paycor, processing payments, and troubleshooting errors.
  • Multi-State Payroll: Experience processing payroll for multiple states, adhering to various regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Payroll Knowledge: General knowledge of payroll processes, rules, and regulations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable navigating payroll systems like Paycor.

What You’ll Do:
As an HRIS Implementation Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of the Paycor HRIS system for new and existing clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end implementation of Paycor HRIS, ensuring seamless onboarding and system setup.
  • Providing expert training and technical support to clients, addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to manage data integrity, implement system updates, and drive process improvements.
  • Conducting audits and generating reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor, guiding clients on best practices for payroll and HRIS operations.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Paylocity, Paychex, Paycom, Workday, or ADP.
  • Experience in Implementing HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes.
  • A background in payroll administration is preferred.
