Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 23, 2026  ·  2201 W Main St, Evanston, IL 60202

ProPayHR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make our website and services usable by as many people as possible.

01Our commitment

We believe everyone deserves equal access to information and services. As a provider of payroll, human resources, recruitment, and training services, we are committed to making our website, applications, and communications accessible to people of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-recognition software, and alternative input devices.

02Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, and conformance with them is the standard widely referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Where we stand. We work toward full conformance, and our website is “partially conformant” with WCAG 2.1 AA, meaning some content may not yet fully meet every criterion. We are actively addressing areas where we fall short and treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

03Measures we take

ProPayHR takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Incorporating accessibility as a goal in our website and content practices
  • Aiming for sufficient color contrast, readable text sizing, and clear visual structure
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and non-text content
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators
  • Using descriptive headings, labels, and link text to aid navigation
  • Offering visitor-adjustable display tools through an accessibility plugin (see below)
  • Reviewing new content and features with accessibility in mind
  • Encouraging staff and vendors to follow accessible design and content practices

04Accessibility tools on our site

To help visitors tailor our website to their individual needs, we use the DJ-Accessibility plugin by DJ-Extensions.com. It adds an on-screen toolbar that lets you adjust your browsing experience, with options that can include contrast and color modes (such as color inversion and monochrome), text size, line height and letter spacing, font adjustments, highlighting of links and headings, a read mode with screen-reader support, and keyboard-friendly navigation.

An aid, not a substitute. This tool supplements our broader accessibility efforts and does not, on its own, guarantee full WCAG 2.1 AA or ADA conformance. We continue to build accessibility into the underlying design, structure, and content of our website.

05Technical specifications

Accessibility of our website relies on the following technologies to work with your web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your device:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

06Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) used together with commonly available assistive technologies. The site may not display or behave optimally on outdated browsers or operating systems that are no longer supported.

07Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may have limitations. We are aware that parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible, which can include third-party content or tools we do not control, certain documents, or older content created before our current standards were in place. We are working to identify and resolve these issues, and we welcome your help in flagging anything you encounter.

08Assessment & ongoing effort

We assess the accessibility of our website through a combination of internal review and evaluation tools, and we update our practices as standards, technologies, and our content evolve. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, and we periodically review our website to identify and address barriers.

09Feedback & contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and services. If you encounter a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have a suggestion for improvement, please let us know. To help us respond effectively, please include the web page address (URL) of the content in question and a description of the difficulty you experienced.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
